Tournament Location

Show-Me Showdown Pin Location
Located in the center of the midwest, the Show-Me Showdown tournament is within easy reach for most midwest based archers.

State Highway 63 runs north with a 70 mph speed limit from Interstate 70 and Columbia, MO directly to Macon and the Macon County Fairgrounds. State Highway 36 also touches the north side of Macon, and runs east and west from west of Denver, Colorado to ultimately Indianapolis with a few highway jumps along the way. The tournament itself will be held at the Macon County Fairgrounds, specifically in the Macon County Expo Building and Macon County Yout Center. Both buildings offer public restrooms, kitchen facilities for concessions, opportunity for spectators, great lighting and overall excellent facilities for supporting a major indoor archery tournament. All locations housing the event are within walking distance of each other, with plenty of parking. The fairground's 47 full RV/Camper hookup sites are also within a short walk to the trounament lines.

For accomodations, Macon offers four hotels and numerous resturaunts, including the regionally famous Pear Tree Kitchen & Bar, where you'll find a steak that rivals any in the country, along with great selection of other food venues in town.

The next closest lodging is in Moberly, MO, about 15 minutes south. Known as "The Magic City," Moberly offers some great eating venues, including the mostly locally known Lula's Tavern, a "hole in the wall" place that makes a steak so good that you'll be back next year for the Show-Me Showdown just to eat there again!

Kirksville, MO, about thirty five minutes north of Macon, and Columbia, about an hour south of Macon are both college towns, full of all that goes with that in terms of accomodations and food. Truman State University finds its home in Kirksville, with the SEC University of Missouri stands in Columbia.

The Show-Me Showdown is about six hours from Yankton, SD, making it a great first stop in a two weekend tournament run for 2021!
